Channing Tatum has revealed that he’s met with X-Men: Days of Future Past showrunners to discuss the possibility of joining the X-Men franchise as the mutant character Gambit.
In a recent interview with MTV, Tatum spoke about his future projects and while Magic Mike 2was the main focus, he went on to discuss the fact that he’s met with X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner about potentially playing Gambit in a future X-Men film.
Channing was extremely excited about potentially playing the mutant from down south. Tatum says, “I met with Lauren Shuler Donner. I would love—Gambit’s my really only X-Men that I’ve ever loved. I [mean] I’ve loved them all, they’re all great, [but] I don’t know I guess just being from down south — my dad’s from Louisiana and I’m from Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida — I don’t know I just related to him.”

Listen. I like Channing Tatum. He’s funny, he can dance and is really not that bad of an actor. However, he does not fit Gambit. Just no. He doesn’t exude that sexuality & sensuality of Gambit. Tatum is like an awkward turtle. Though he does sound legitimately excited and invested in Gambit so that’s a plus. Jamie Dornan — I would say hell yes to for Gambit and while there were issues with Taylor Kitsch and his portrayal of Gambit, I still like him better than Tatum for the role.

I’m excited that there’s at least talks of a Gambit movie because then there’s that chance of Rogue and FINALLY seeing my ultimate OTP on screen.

Cause you know…DOFP just let me down in all the ways.

If jean and Scott are voted high school prom queen and king or high sweet hearts and maybe storm and forge are most likely to succeed. If that’s the case Gambit and Rogue are most definitely voted most sexy or popular.

I always saw these two as the people you would want to go out on the town with. They look like they know how to have allot of fun. Maybe that’s why they look so much more casual the other my other designs.

Who knew having Rogue wear pink would be so hard. Warren and Remy are two famous pink male wearing members and its debatable but i think its pretty progressive for a 90s comic lol. She looks great in green and in fact the more i thought about it shes the one of the few mutants who can actually pull the proper rule 64 with the red eyes. Gambit i wish i drew him with a beanie like Clay did in his gambit run. I think more beanies the better.

Still working on that sketchbook and wanted to get this one in there as well .
